Cartoon Network And Simworx Sign Rides Deal
British amusement simulation ride company, Simworx and Cartoon Network EMEA have teamed up to develop a range of dynamic attractions based on the channel’s animated shows, including Adventure Time. Simworx, based in the West Midlands, England, is a world leader in different types of rides such as Immersive Tunnels, 3D/4D effects theatres, Advanced Dark Rides, RoboCoaster rides and fully themed, multi-experience attractions. The deal allows Simworx to use custom Cartoon Network content and branding on and in their attractions. The deal with Simworx was made in early June.
Maria Rosaria Milone, Senior Director, Category Management, Cartoon Network EMEA, made this statement in regards of the attractions deal:
“This deal is a first-of-its-kind for Cartoon Network and we have every confidence that, with our amazing storylines and visual assets, Simworx will deliver on what they do best.”
The Managing Director of Simworx, Terry Monkton, also added:
“There is massive potential for the development of some very exciting and memorable attractions.”
