Sky Kids Café Opens In London

Yesterday (30/05/2016), UK DTH (Direct-To-Home) satellite television provider – Sky, opened the Sky Kids Café at The Vinyl Factory in London. Open only for a limited time between Monday 30th May through to Wednesday 1st June, The Sky Kids Café offers children the exciting chance to step into the worlds of some of their favourite TV shows, which are now available through the new Sky Kids app. The cafe provides an interactive experience as its an opportunity to try out the new Sky Kids App and to watch some of the shows it has to offer.

The café features a Scooby-Doo haunted house as an imaginative play area, where kids can solve mysteries and meet Boomerang’s very own Scooby-Doo! The café also features Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants’ pineapple home and Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom.

The Sky Kids app features thousands of episodes of kids’ favourite shows in an app that’s just for them. It features 16 of the 20 highest-rated shows (including top shows on Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Cartoonito), all available on demand and gives them their own profile with shows tailored to their age. Sky Kids is available to download now from both Google Play and Apple’s App Store. The app will work on 3G/4G and Wi-Fi and is available at no extra cost for customers with the Sky Family or Variety bundle or Sky Q.
