Cartoon Network Studios Europe’s The Heroic Quest Of The Valiant Prince Ivandoe Selected For Annecy Animation Festival 2018 TV Films In Competition
Cartoon Network Studios Europe’s and Sun Creature Studio’s animated shorts series – The Heroic Quest Of The Valiant Prince Ivandoe has been selected to be screened at Annecy Animation Festival 2018. The episode – “The Prince and the Pretty Poodle” has been selected to take part in the TV films competition. Also in the same category as The Heroic Quest Of The Valiant Prince Ivandoe are Cartoon Network’s eleven-minute series – We Bare Bears and Jorel’s Brother and also Adult Swim’s Robot Chicken.
The animated series follows the adventures of Prince Ivandoe the young prince of the forest, whose father, The Mighty Stag, sends him on a quest to find the magical Golden Feather of the fearsome Eagle King. On his journey, Ivandoe is aided by his loyal squire, a small bird named Bert, together, both Ivandoe and Bert face up against some unusual challenges and encounter strange creatures while traversing through the forest. The series is created by Danish animators Christian Bøving-Andersen and Eva Lee Wallberg – who previously worked on Cartoon Network’s EMEA-produced hit series The Amazing World of Gumball.
In the episode, Ivandoe and Bert are captured and tied up by a forest survivalist who happens to be a pink poodle, both Ivandoe and Bert will need to figure out on how to escape from the pretty but not-so-cute poodle. The episode can be watched with English audio on Cartoon Network UK’s YouTube channel, but it’s geoblocked in other major English speaking countries including the United States, Canada and Australia.
