Ben 10 Hero Experience Coming To Intu Trafford Centre 1st And 2nd October

Ahead of the UK television premiere of the Ben 10 reboot on Cartoon Network UK on Saturday 8th October, Cartoon Network UK will be offering an interactive Ben 10 experience for one weekend only (1st October and 2nd October) at the intu Trafford Centre near Manchester. The intergalactic interactive experience will allow kids to become the alien transforming hero himself, Ben Tennyson as well as four different aliens. The Ben 10 Hero Experience gives kids the opportunity to transform into four different aliens featured in the show: Heatblast, Diamondhead, Four Arms and Overflow.

Each alien has an unique ability, Heatblast can shoot fireballs, Diamondhead launches crystal shards, Four Arms can make giant shockwaves and Overflow can shoot water. Heatblast will also be there welcoming kids to the experience and there will also be a special sneak peek of the new upcoming series. The experience is very similar to Cartoon Network UK’s other recent interactive experience based on Adventure Time – “An Ooo Experience”, which has toured around shopping centres up and down Great Britain during summer 2016.

More Info About The Aliens Featured In The Ben 10 Hero Experience

Diamondhead

Hailing from the planet Petropia, Diamondhead’s alien DNA is silicon-based – hard silicone – diamond hard. With a body composed of organic green crystals, as Diamondhead, Ben can control his molecular structure to reform all or part of it into crystal weaponry, everything from swords to shields. His crystalline structure also makes it easy for him to reflect or refract light and energy beams.

Four Arms

With DNA originating from the distant planet Khoros, this alien form is four times as strong as the toughest aliens in the galaxy – and not just because of the extra appendages at his disposal! As Four Arms, Ben can lift the heaviest of objects and pack the most powerful of punches, as well as create a shockwave by slapping his hands together. Not the fastest alien of the ten, but sometimes pure strength is what gets the job done.

Heatblast

From the planet Pyros, this alien DNA is comprised of a magma-like substance that is, predictably, incredibly hot. As Heatblast, Ben has control over extreme heat-based blasts and is able to throw fire from his hands. He can also absorb heat and fire into himself to extinguish it elsewhere. And yes, he is a bit of a hothead, but he can be doused by exposure to water – a possible Achilles heel.

Overflow

This DNA code originates from the Andromeda Galaxy planet Kiusana, this alien is a mysterious, liquid-based creature. As Overflow, Ben has control over most forms of moisture and can shoot water from his arms (like a water gun) and even create “water whips” as a form of attack. He’s even able to harden water into a protective exoskeleton form. While he may not seem like the most powerful, it has to be noted that when you control water, you control two-thirds of the Earth’s surface and that kind of power is nothing to laugh at!

Even since the original series of Ben 10 premiered on Cartoon Network USA in December 2005, it has become a phenomenal children’s television hit worldwide, spawning three different series and a multitude of toys and merchandise. The reboot is a retelling of the story of the original series but with new aliens and more villians, the story will also start with Ben’s discovery of the Omnitrix, an alien transforming watch-like device, during Ben’s summer holiday with his grandfather and his cousin Gwen. The show was created by the “Man of Action” writers collective (Joe Casey, Joe Kelly, Duncan Rouleau and Steven T. Seagle), Man of Action also created another Cartoon Network show – Generator Rex.

The Ben 10 Experience takes place on 1st October from 10am to 6pm and 2nd October from 1pm to 6pm at the intu Trafford Centre.
